Acupuncture is a branch of Traditional Chinese and Oriental Medicine that arose from Medical Qigong. Medical Qigong is a primary form of medicine in China and is considered to be the Father of the more modern Acupuncture. It is also considered by many Masters to be the most potent form of Oriental Medicine. Studies in China have shown that many health conditions that are resistant to Acupuncture, Massage and Herbs can oftentimes be deeply affected and transformed by Medical Qigong treatments.
Medical Qigong has at its core Qigong practice itself, the skilled cultivation of universal life force energy. Needling in conjunction with personal Qigong practice and Chi transmissions to your clients can be a super potent cutting edge healing combination. In order to be successful in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine practice or any healing method, we have to produce results. Medical Qigong can boost your healing results. As healing practitioners, we also know how important it is for us to stay healthy ourselves and yet many practitioners have clients and family and have little time or quality attention left for themselves. Because Medical Qigong incorporates personal Qigong practice you can give yourself an energy boost before, during and after you work with your clients.
At Qigong Awareness we offer Continuing Education for Acupuncturists in the Art and Science of Medical Qigong. (Massage therapists, other practitioners, and laypeople are welcome too.) At our workshops, you get to practice Qigong, work on other practitioners and have other practitioners work on you. It is the most profound weekend that we offer several times a year in different locations around the country. We also offer this our Golden Dragon Medical Qigong course online, although it is more fun to do it live! Getting CEU’s does not have to be boring it can be one of the most exciting new adventures you ever begin. For those that are interested, we will soon have a Medical Qigong Certification Program. For now, we are offering the foundation teachings and turning people on to this profound and ancient practice.
