Is there attention given to learning meridians and acupuncture points?

Good question. You will learn some of the Acupuncture points and meridians since they are mentioned from time to time throughout our certification programs. However, it is not as in-depth as would be taught in a Masters’s Degree program in Oriental Medicine. This program is a hands-on experience preparing each student to be able to teach a Qigong Class and give a Medical Qigong Treatment Session. The focus is not on didactic learning. Many Acupuncturists become certified with our training programs and already know the meridians and acupuncture points. We recommend certain texts although we do not require or test students on their knowledge of TCM. Our focus is on treatment, teaching, and concepts.
