How Much Energy do you personally waste trying to control what you cannot control?
What if you took 1/10 of that energy and used it to build yourself up?
Did you know I had a spinal disease, I was diagnosed with biological panic disorder and told I would panic attacks the rest of my life? Did you know I’m over it!!
Look around you. Everyone in your life is a mirror. They are mirroring back to you your unfinished business.
That’s right, your unfinished business.
Simple: whatever they are not doing to better themselves. Do it! Show them how it is done!
Show them they are not just victims of circumstance!
Show them what you can do if you choose to take up the reigns of your own life!
At 16 years old I was seemingly being taken over by a severe degenerative spinal disease that the doctors said would cripple me by the time I was thirty years old. I became a drug addict and alcoholic to deal with the pain and and my whole family was wrestling with addiction.
At 18 Years old I decided it was time to a make a difference in the only thing that is really ever possible to make a difference in – myself.
At the time I had no idea that I had so much power to influence my life and I had no idea that I could become such a channel of positive energy and healing forces.
I took back some of that energy that I was giving out in worry and concern for others and trying to fix them and save them and feel sorry for them and I began focusing on myself. I felt like a victim and I had no energy, no money, no time and all the excuses anyone could have to stop trying.
Rather than continuing to live like a victim to all these circumstances I started one brick at a time.
I began studying martial arts and qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine with Masters. I changed my idea about what I wanted to be when I grew up. I knew I wanted to be a master. A martial arts master, a sage. I didn’t know enough about Qigong at that time to know that I would become a Qigong Master.
I quit all drugs and alcohol. Never went back.
I began reading and studying:
Psychology Degree from the University of Connecticut
State Certified Emergency Medical Technician in CT
Four Years of Pre- Med Molecular Cellular Biology Training CU
Black Belt in Karate by 21 Years Old.
Black Belt in 2nd Style Kenpo Karate by about 25 years old.
Begin Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts studies at 21 years old and have my own students and my own mini school by the time I am 25 years old.
I became a counselor for at risk youth at a locked Psych hospital.
I became a Certified Medical Administration technician and an Instructor of managing aggressive behavior at Psych Hospitals.
I was a Bouncer in the local bar and acted as a peacemaker.
Reading Course in Miracles, Sandra Ingerman, Dan MIllman’s Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Tony Robbins, Celestine Prophecy, Many Lives, Many Masters, Barbara Brennan’s work: Hands of Light, Books on Quantum Physics and Out of Body Experiences, Books on Near Death Experiences, books about Edgar Cayce and many books on Qigong and Martial Arts and TCM.
I began intensive training in Tibetan Buddhist practices of meditation and conscious death and enlightenment practices.
I began training in Qigong and Medical Qigong.
I began Aikido training and Brazilian JI Jitsu training at two schools right next to each other.
I began studying Tae Kwon Do and spent the next seven years attaining a Black Belt from the world renowned Master Kwon Jae Hwa.
I met my soul mate and started a company which began as Ancient Wisdom Medicine and eventually turned into Qigong Awareness LLC.
I could go on – but what’s the point?
What can you not freaking do!!
Take back some of that energy and use it to become better to become greater!! Anyone can do it. Everybody has their own problems but in essence they are all different versions of the same thing.
What you got whatever it is – that’s what you have to exalt!
I am no Superman – I am the average person showing up everyday – making my life better and the lives of others better one day, one year at a time.
It begins with your decision to start taking back your power and it begins with you taking action!
And it continues because you don’t quit!
And keep going.
SUFFERING IS GREAT MOTIVATOR!! EVENTUALLY…
Qigong is a short cut! It is because even when I was in too much pain from martial arts to go to practice, even when I was in so much pain I could barely get out of bed, even when it was snowing outside I had practices that I could do that could change the state and circumstances of my situation!
I could change my breath, I could stretch, work with my posture, I could begin to regain and rebuild my energy reserves.
It just one of those practices out there that has worked for millions of people especially in Asia and it is now becoming very popular here in the states. And here’s the thing anyone can do it. It is a LIFE HACK!
Try it!
