VIDEO TRANSCRIPTION – Increase The Effectiveness of Your Massage with Qigong 15 CEUs

Hello, David J. Coon with Qigong Awareness. Did you know that you can increase the effectiveness of your massage by infusing chi into your practice? Bringing chi into your practice. Traditionally massage is one form of Oriental medicine. There are four branches, and massage is one of those branches. Medical qigong is the father of acupuncture, and it is also one of those branches. It is one of those that’s not heard about quite as much. It has deep roots in qigong practice. Qigong means the skilled cultivation of universal life force, or the idea that we can gather energy. When we gather energy, then the more energy that we have, the more energized our massage is going to be. It’s that simple. There’s many more deeper discussions we can have about it, but in general it’s that simple.

I actually got into Qigong when I was younger, when I was 15 years old I had a severe spinal disease that the doctor said would cripple me by the time I was 30 years old. At that time I started working on other people. I also, in my late 20s, managed to heal that spinal disease and I’ve been working on people for another X number of years on top of that. It’s been 30 plus years that I’ve been doing this type of work. Having chi is key. If you’re interested in learning more about gather chi for yourself or becoming one of our certified Qigong instructors, go ahead and check out our website and www.Q-I-G-O-N-G, that’s how we spell qigong, awareness.com. Thanks guys. I’m David J. Coon. I look forward to perhaps training with you sometime soon. Thank you.
